The company engaged us, as a trusted delivery partner on several previous engagements, to asisst in the strategy, design and implementation of its in-house PaaS solution, based on Microsoft’s Azure platform.
Response: In response to this challenge we – along with our trusted partners in cloud migration & cybersecurity solutions – conducted a thorough assessment of the client’s existing infrastructure and developed a comprehensive cloud migration strategy tailored to their unique needs. We analysed several industry-leading cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure, and having finally recommended Azure we orchestrated the seamless migration of client applications, data, and workloads to the cloud. We also implemented advanced security measures, including encryption, multi-factor authentication, and network segmentation, to safeguard our clients assets and ensure compliance with industry regulations. Additionally, we provided extensive training and support to it’s IT teams and end users, enabling them to effectively manage and optimize their cloud environment.

Case Study 2: Loyalty Programme
Challenge: Developing an effective loyalty program for this customers UK retail business posed several challenges, including the need to adapt to digital transformation and leverage data-driven insights to enhance customer engagement and loyalty. Additionally, navigating a complex multi-vendor landscape and integrating various systems and channels required careful coordination and strategic planning.
Response: In response to these challenges, we took a proactive approach by leading the agile delivery as the product owner, bridging the gap between business objectives and IT solutions. We focused on implementing IT solutions across digital channels, POS systems, reward management, CRM, and data analytics capabilities. Additionally, we developed and executed an operating model and launch strategy, integrating Agile methodologies with advanced change management approaches to streamline the transition from the old loyalty program to the new one.
Outcomes: Our efforts yielded significant outcomes for the business, including the successful launch of the new loyalty program, which attracted over a million customers and expanded to over 1000 sites. The introduction of a new mobile app and website streamlined customer interactions, resulting in over 650,000 transactions per week and the issuance of millions of personalized rewards. By empowering the business with real-time personalized rewards, expanded digital channels, and strategic partnership benefits, we have revolutionized customer engagement and loyalty for this customer in the UK.
Case Study 3: Data Integration Programme
Challenge: The reqiuirement involved managing both On-Premise and Cloud Infrastructure SQL Databases for the Data Analytics platform (DAP), which presented challenges in ensuring seamless integration and efficient management across different cloud environments (Azure SQL Server and AWS SQL Relational Database Services). Additionally, collaborating with SQL Server Database administrators and the Data Engineering team to provide technical solutions and implement database security measures required careful coordination and strategic planning.
Response: To address these challenges, we took on a lead technical role for Azure Database, Azure Analysis Services, and PowerBI, overseeing the design, development, and migration processes. We collaborated closely with the Data Engineering team to design and implement data integration solutions, including Inbound and Outbound API integrations. Additionally, we designed and developed a robust database security model, incorporating Row Level Security and Schema-based Access for effective Data Access Management by Business and Groups.
Outcomes: Through our leadership and technical expertise, significant outcomes were achieved, including the successful implementation of several HSSE DAP Projects such as Azure SQL DB, Azure Analysis Services, Databricks, and PowerBI. This resulted in the creation of Group Business Dashboards, Asset Dashboards, and the Global Road Safety Dashboard (GRSD) Analytics, enhancing data visualization and decision-making capabilities. Furthermore, our contributions led to improvements in near real-time data validation for enhancing safety performance and the successful migration of Azure Databases to the Malaysia & Singapore Regions, paving the way for future scalability and growth. Overall, our involvement in these projects demonstrated our proficiency in DevOps practices, Azure Data Lake, Data Factory, Data Analytics, and Data Visualization, showcasing strong analytical skills and expertise in driving successful outcomes for the business.
